Quote, unquote: where is the outrage?

The wife of Conrad Black says that if ostensibly privileged defendants can be baselessly smeared, wrongfully deprived, falsely accused, shamelessly persecuted, innocently convicted and grotesquely punished, it doesn't take much to figure out what happens to the vulnerable, the powerless, the working-class people whose savings have been eaten up trying to defend themselves. Where, she asks,is the outrage and fury?

Am I missing something? A court of law is now referred to as baseless this, false that, and grotesque the other thing? Would she prefer the toss of a coin, where chance might result in a favourable verdict? What alternative judicial process does she favour?

Falsely accused? I seem to recall her hubby being accurately convicted.

What a tiresome woman. Everyone else is wrong and to blame, she and her crook husband have done nothing at all to bring about their own downfall. If you do the crime, you have to do the time as well.
