Ken Whyte now responsible for all Rogers's English and French consumer publishing

Ken Whyte has now been given responsibility for all consumer publications at Rogers Publishing Limited. It was announced today in a message to staff from Brian Segal, the President and CEO of Rogers Publishing which said
Effective immediately, I am expanding the responsibilities of Ken Whyte in his role as Executive Vice-President, Consumer Publishing, Rogers Publishing Limited. Ken will now be responsible for overseeing all consumer publishing titles. This means that in addition to his current portfolio of publications, Ken will also oversee all of our French consumer titles based in the Montreal office: LOULOU, Châtelaine, and L’actualité. Ken will also oversee Hello!

As a result of this appointment, the leadership team at LOULOU, Chatelaine, L’actualité and Hello! will now report directly to Ken.

Having once worked for him, I think he's brilliant (and, incidentally, completely enigmatic). What I don't understand is how one person can do this many jobs. Seriously -- are there enough hours in the day?

ya, they cant actually do the job... Just ask any former Transcon group publisher. The secret, as Ken knows quite well... is to secure several faithful acolytes who avoid the limelight (and big salary), to actually do the real work.
