Toronto Life launches new iPad edition

Toronto Life magazine has launched a new iPad edition, coincident with its March "Best Doctors" issue that is available today on newsstands.The free custom app makes the tablet version of the magazine available (by subscription), along with video, interactive features and slideshows. The app is free at the iTunes store.Toronto Life print subscribers are being offered a 30-day free trial subscription of the tablet version.

    Sorry, not from Toronto and no offence meant, but "Best Doctors" has got to be one of the lamest cover stories of all time. It's the kind of thing that you expect in, say, Phoenix magazine or Palm Springs Life. Not up here.

    It's ok that you're not from Toronto (kind of.) If you were from Toronto and had to deal with the brutal supply-demand issues we have in our health care, you'd find that a very compelling cover story indeed.
