Feminist writing journal Canthius launches
Always nice to see new titles and writing outlets launch. This time it is Canthius, a literary journal of feminist writing based in Toronto. The first issue launch is Saturday night September 26, 7 - 9 pm at the Likely General, 389 Roncesvalles.
The editors of the journal are Claire Farley,Cira Nickel, and Puneet Dutt. The magazine limits submissions to 3,500 words for fiction and 5 poems for poetry. Contributors aren't paid and, in fact, have to include a $3.50 submission fee to help cover production costs.
