Rick Campbell, formerly longtime Rogers editor and exec, has died
It was very unhappy news that Rick Campbell, the former B2B Director of Content, Rogers Healthcare, Retail and Financial Services, died last Saturday.
He will be remembered fondly by those who worked with him at the Medical Post and all the other group titles including Pharmacy Practice+, Canadian Healthcare Manager, NurseNewsline, Profession Sante, Marketing, Canadian Grocer, Advisor Group, Benefits Canada and Canadian Insurance Top Broker/Corporate Risk Canada. He was always generous with his time and his advice and was very well regarded inside Rogers and elsewhere. For the past 11 months he had been a self-employed consultant, having left Rogers after 16 years as he struggled with illness.
He leaves his wife, Beth Thompson and children Jordan, Drew and Chad. A celebration of Rick's life will be held at Mississaugua Golf and Country Club on Friday, October 20th at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Crohn's and Colitis Canada.
