Cameron Williamson to be
art director of Chatelaine

Chatelaine, which seems to take its sweet time filling key editorial positions, has finally named an art director, according to a story in mastheadonline (sub requ'd). It is Cameron Wiliamson, who was creative director at Toro. Chatelaine editor Sara Angel met Williamson when the two worked at Saturday Night (she as features editor, he as an intern).

Interesting how all these untrained "creative visionaries" are diluting the magazine industy. How do people who never studied graphic design and do not have the first clue on how design a layout (let alone how to use a computer) get placed in these positions? Oh wait I forgot...they dress cool and hire interns to do the work!
Sad where this industry is going.
