Six Canadian magazines nominated for Utne Independent Press Awards

The annual Utne Independent Press Awards finalists have been announced, among them six Canadian titles. (Unfortunately, one of the titles -- ascent, from Montreal, has closed as of March 31.) Winners will be announced at a celebration in Boulder, Colorado, during the Magazine Publishers of America’s Independent Magazine Group conference (May 17-19) and published in the July-August issue of Utne Reader.
