Rogers acquires French-language marketing magazine AMPQ
Rogers Publishing has bought AMPQ magazine, thereby giving Marketing magazine a French-language counterpart for coverage of the advertising, marketing and communications industries.
AMPQ is published 10 times a year and read by more than 58,000 marketing and communications professionals. Aside from the print magazine, AMPQ maintains AMPQ.com, produces a daily e-newsletter, AMPQ Quotidien (an e-mail newsletter with 15,000 subscribers), and an annual directory, AMPQ Repertoire.
“This is an important acquisition that puts us in a leadership position in Quebec’s highly influential marketing community,” said John Milne, senior vice-president, business and professional publishing, Rogers Publishing in a release.
Marketing had launched a French daily newsletter in February Marketing au quotidien which was “a good first step” according to Jean Goulet, executive publisher, business and professional publishing, at Rogers.
“With the AMPQ stable of assets, we can provide our Quebec constituency with a broad array of proven capabilities and a new standard of service.
