The things magazines do to themselves...It gives a whole new meaning to "belly band". This ugly banner wrap is what subscribers to Elle Canada see when they receive the current issue. It leads to a spread ad inside and $2 off coupon.

Hard to tell what that is...Is that the same thing that Maclean's does from time to time? I just rip off those covers and put them in recycling. Not very effective, IMO.

In addition to all of the other issues this cover brings up, it's a shame they cover Lily Cole's entire face. She's gorgeous and will hopefully get some buzz after The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus comes out.
Gee, a model on a white background, how novel. It looks like they don't do a split run so they have to slap the address label over top of cover lines.

Another advertiser (or should I say their agency) demonstrates that they have no respect for the reader or the media.
