Kenneth R. Wilson business-to-business magazine nominees announced
The three finalists for the inaugural magazine of the year award in the Kenneth R. Wilson (KRW) Awards are Alberta Oil, Precedent and Salon.
The nominees for the 21 written, visual, special and online categories for business-to-business publishing were released this morning. The winners will be announced at The Carlu in Toronto on June 1.
There were 600 individual entries and 180 nominees from 68 different magazines. Marketing magazine led among magazines with 20 nominations in total, followed by CA magazine, Up Here Business and Canadian Lawyer. Individual awards were led by Allan Janssen, who had 5 nominations, followed by Jeromy Lloyd and Marco Beghetto with four and Yves Bonneau, Steve Bouchard, Michael Ganley, Glenn Kauth, David Menzies and Katharine Sandiford with two each. Illustrator GĂ©rard Dubois and photographers Jeff Kirk and Patrick Kane were each nominated twice.
The 2010 Kenneth R. Wilson Awards are co-produced this year for the first time by the Canadian Business Press and Magazines Canada.
