While Green Living Magazine, which was published twice a year, it actually ceased publication in 2009. Green Living Enterprises is healthy and active. The magazine was always a small component of GLE's wider eco-focused custom publishing and marketing operations, which include the Green Living Show, custom publishing and custom content creation for clients such as The Home Depot, Scotiabank, Sears and others, and marketing for a wide range of corporations, ENGOs, utilities, government and others. While not taken lightly, the decision to cease publication of our controlled distribution consumer magazine was made in an effort to focus staff resources and energy on our core custom publishing and marketing business. We are also happy to report that the 2010 Green Living Show broke attendance records and had over 260 million media impressions

While I appreciate the response, and news that the Show will go on, it surprises me that the magazine was discontinued months ago and that its role in establishing the brand is now played down. If it was news to me, then it was likely news, too, to all of the magazine's readers.
I was also unhappy to hear about the termination of the magazine. It was a good resource and it will be missed.
If I may contribute my bit in the spirit of the magazine, let me share a great TED video on energy efficient building materials: http://www.ted.com/talks/catherine_mohr_builds_green.html .
Thank you for all the inspiration, Green Living.

I'm always concerned when magazines, particularly ones with an environmental angle, fold.
