Postmedia gets Jay Rosen and Jeff Jarvis to advise them on "digital first" strategy

Postmedia has recruited online gurus  Jay Rosen and  Jeff Jarvis to their new digital advisory board, according to a post on J-source. Also appointed were Janet Bannister and Judy Simms. The board is headed by Postmedia's executive VP, digital, Malcolm Kirk.
Rosen is the author of journalism site PressThink and is a professor at New York University's school of journalism. Bannister is the founder of online classifieds site Kijiji Canada. Jarvis, a j-prof at the City University of New York, writes media news site Buzz Machine and heads up the school's newly-launched Tow-Knight Center for Entrepreneurial Journalism. Sims is the COO of CanSport LIVE, a Toronto-based start-up, and former VP digital media of Toronto Star Media Group, where she managed thestar.com and Toronto.com.
