Whatever happened to...Kevin Doyle?
A former Editor of Maclean's magazine, Kevin Doyle, is now the Executive Director of Public Affairs and Communications at the University of Windsor. This follows stints as Editor at the C.D. Howe Institute and Canadian editor of Bloomberg News.
Doyle succeeded Peter C. Newman and took a decidedly "newsy" and internationalist approach to Maclean's, opening bureaus in Moscow and London that were later closed for cost reasons by his successors.
"In his new role, he will focus on increasing the profile of the University of Windsor through a new marketing and branding campaign, while providing leadership in the areas of media relations and publications," the university's announcement said.
