The healthy workplace and the healthy
subscriber base
Your Workplace magazine is holding a major conference on healthy workplaces and, not coincidentally, giving interested conference goers a very good reason to become subscribers. A subscriber gets a $55 discount off the $325 cost of the day-long conference, which is being held in Kingston on April 13 and the Kingston Banquet and Conference Centre. A normal subscription costs $45.50 a year.
The keynote luncheon speaker is Linda Duxbury, a professor from the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University, talking about the problems with workload and an organizational culture that rewards presentee-ism and hours at work rather than output and deliverables.
Among the 16 sessions, there are presentations on organizational behaviour, work-life balance and ergonomics.
Your Workplace has a combined paid and controlled circulation of approximately 12,000 an issue, and is published 8 times a year.
