Feature writing book to be launched
The Bigger Picture: Elements of Feature Writing (Emond Montgomery Publications) is being launched at The Duke of York 39 Prince Arthur Avenue in Toronto on Thursday, August 21 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. All interested in the craft are welcome.The book, which was organized & edited by Ivor Shapiro, the director of the magazine stream at Ryerson's School of Journalism, contains chapters by some of Canada's best known freelance magazine writers, such as David Hayes.

Sounds really useful - I'd love to get a copy. I'd love to attend but am out of town that week.
