On the Go commuter quarterly to expand in more ways than one
On The Go, a controlled glossy quarterly magazine is expanding in size and distribution. The commuter paper is increasing to a "European digest" size which increases its page size by 20%. And, according to a story in Media in Canada it is increasing its distribution by 35,000 copies in TTC subway and GO train stations throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) that will see 100,000 copies in consumers' hands in July. The free commuter paper is distributed by Torstar Direct Services.
"It's a bigger presence for the advertisers and it allows the editorial design to sit on the stands better," says publisher Mark Switzer of the layout change.
