Westworld BC is launching a digital version (can AB and SK be far behind?)

The auto club magazine Westworld, one of Canada's largest circulation magazines, is launching a digital version starting with its summer issue. The magazine, which is published under contract by Canada Wide Media Limited of Vancouver (it is by far their largest circulation title) will apparently still be available in printed form for BC members of the Canadian Automobile Association (BCCAA), at least for now.

The magazine sent a notice to its member subscribers that said, in part:
In our continuing efforts to be an environmentally conscientious company, BCAA is taking Westworld is now online for the very first time. By reducing the number of Westworld magazines in print, we will significantly reduce the amount of paper we use and the carbon footprint of Westworld.

Starting in May 2009, we will be launching Westworld online for our members. The online version is a digital copy of Westworld magazine and, as such, will continue to offer the same features that members have come to expect from Westworld magazine.
Westworld's latest audited circulation in BC is 529,000 (there are three different editions, one each for BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan). The total Westworld circ is about 1.2 million.

How will they "significantly reduce the amount of paper they use" if it will still be available to members of the BCAA?

I presume it will be offering, and having a significant number of recipients accept, that they should receive the magazine in digital form only.
