Freelancer Margaret Webb gets research grant to investigate our food system
Congratulations to perennial freelance writer, teacher and author Margaret Webb who has been granted a four-month Atkinson Charitable Foundation investigative fellowshipresearch grant to explore Canada's food system - the results of her research will be published as an 8-part series in the Toronto Star in October. She's the first ever recipient of this award.
Webb, who teaches magazine writing at Ryerson's Chang School for Continuing Education, recently published a book about food in Canada called Apples to Oysters: A food lover's tour of Canadian farms.
