Renew Canada and Alberta Oil co- produce energy infrastructure list

Two Canadian magazines -- ReNew Canada and Alberta Oil -- have teamed up to publish an editorial feature that lists Canada's top 25 energy infrastructure projects. The national perspective of ReNew, published out of Toronto is complemented by the perspective on the energy sector of Alberta Oil, published out of Calgary.

The editorial list represents over $15 billion in active energy projects across Canada. It will appear in the June/July issue of Alberta Oil (published by Venture Publishing Inc. of Edmonton) and the July/August issue of Renew Canada (published by Actual Media Inc.).
"Working with Alberta Oil to create this editorial feature was exciting," says Todd Latham, publisher of ReNew Canada, in a release. "I'm not aware of any other initiative in Canada which has seen two independent magazines work so closely in this way. In today's competitive environment, collaboration has given us a powerful way to serve our readers with unique content and provide our advertisers with a larger, targeted audience."

Historically, the Alberta oil sands has been the most famous symbol of the energy economic motor, but the energy sector isn't driving just Alberta's economy anymore. "Canada's economy has become increasingly focused on the energy sector," says Ruth
Kelly, publisher of Alberta Oil. "Manufacturers, engineers and professional service providers across the entire country benefit from the billions of dollars invested in developing Canada's natural resources."
