Coatings is dead; long live Blend and Topcoat

Rogers Publishing is taking the unusual course of closing one of its trade magazines and creating two others as a result. According to a posting in Mastheadonline, Coatings magazine is being closed and two new, sector-specific titles -- Blend and Topcoat -- are being launched in 2010. Coatings, which covers paint, coatings and industrial finishing, has been published 7 times a year. There are no layoffs associated with the change.
