CTV exec Keith Pelley named as president of Rogers Media

Keith Pelley, vice-president of strategic planning at CTV, has been named president of Rogers Media, succeeding the retiring Tony Viner. As such, Pelley will be responsible for Rogers Publishing and its consimer and trade magazines and web properties as well as Rogers Broadcasting, Sportsnet, The Shopping Channel, the Toronto Blue Jays and the Rogers Centre.

Previous to CTV, Pelley served as president and chief executive officer of the Toronto Argonauts from 2004 to 2007 and as president of TSN.
