Wired is a lonely genius when it comes to Digital IQ
Wired magazine is the only brand out of 80 U.S. magazines measured in the 2nd annual Digital IQ Index produced by the market research firm L2 to achieve "Genius" status. (The index ranks digital strategy execution.) "While Wired was the only brand out of the 80 to receive a Genius-level ranking, other rankings in the study are Gifted, Average, Challenged and Feeble, which included 28, 36, 11 and 4 brands respectively," says Folio:
The study measures brand competence across website, digital marketing, social media and mobile platforms; this year it also includes use of tablets. Points are given for how well content, marketing, engagement and advertising tactics are deployed within and across five segments.
