Part of the Alberta Magazine Awards next week (March 14-15 in Calgary) involves the award for best cover and there are 8 finalists: They included Alberta Oil (2 finalists), Avenue Calgary, Alberta Venture, New Trail, Oilsands Review, Swerve (2). These and other nominees can be found on the website of the Alberta Magazine Publishers Association (AMPA).
