Handyman Mike Holmes back in print: Make It Right SIP with TC Media
A new special-interest publication called Make It Right will be on the newsstands April 22, marking the 10th anniversary of the phenomenon of muscular handyman Mike Holmes on television. The Holmes Group has struck a partnership with TC Media to produce the $9.99 newsstand-only magazine. (It comes some way back from the debacle of HOLMES magazine, which abruuptly ceased publication in 2011 in a dispute with its publishing partner Dauphin Media.)
“It seemed to us that Mike’s ten year Anniversary was the perfect time to come back with a new publication,” says Liza Drozdov, vice-president of The Holmes Group. “After HOLMES magazine ceased publication in 2011 we stepped back and regrouped. We took the time to research and evaluate the market and we made sure to find the right partners in TC Media. We already know that people really like Mike. They want to know more about him, as well as how he does things—the right way. So that’s exactly what did—we gave them more Mike.”

I'm wondering if they mailed copies to the magazine's subscribers that were stiffed when the previous version of the mag went bankrupt and left subscribers hanging?
One issue? I can't find the magazine anywhere on their site, other than the one and nothing on TC's website to indicate more than one issue.
This is a special interest publication and so intended to be a one-off, though they may decide to put out others depending on the uptake of this first one.
