Pure Canada publishing pitches invited

Pure Canada magazine is published by the Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC) to increase awareness and interest in Canada as a four-season tourism destination, particularly for U.S. travellers. The annual circulation of what is, in real terms, an elaborate travel catalogue, is about 825,000. Now, CTC wants to outsource the 100-page magazine and is asking for expressions of interest to develop, design, and produce Pure Canada in 2007 and, potentially, beyond. The call is going out to commercial publishers interested in making a presentatio of their capabilities, with an initial deadline of July 21. For the full text of the REFI and details, go to the MERX website.
