British Columbia marks 150th anniversary of BC with largest issue ever
The summer 2008 issue of British Columbia magazine handsomely marks the sesquicentennial (that's 150 years) of the founding of the province. The issue -- the largest ever for the magazine -- has an 18-page photo essay called “Our history in pictures”. Vancouver freelance writer Daniel Wood writes about running Hells Gate rapids on the Fraser River exactly 200 years after explorer Simon Fraser, a feature accompanied by a double-page map of the river.
The magazine’s website will soon post a new photo gallery, with more than a dozen historical photographs from times gone by in British Columbia.

Thanks for posting this DB. I know I am biased, but this cover sure looks like a winner to me
