RDA president: We're not filing for bankruptcy

Reader's Digest Association President and CEO Mary Berner has issued an anodyne statement saying that while they have hired Kirkland and Ellis, a law firm that advises in bankruptcy cases, it was merely as advisors (in other words, she confirms the reports last week, but says that RDA is not filing for bankruptcy; as far as we know, no one said they were.)
