One week left for entry to National Magazine Awards

The National Magazine Awards wants you to know that there is but one week -- by Friday, January 15 at 5 p.m. -- to enter the awards.  Submissions are being accepted in 40 print categories and seven new online categories for Gold ($1000) and Silver ($500) awards. Entries must be submitted online then followed by tear sheets delivered no later than the January 15 deadline. 

This year there are also two special categories for those new to the Canadian magazine industry. The Best New Visual Creator award will recognize an illustrator or photographer whose early work in magazines shows the highest degree of craft and promise, and the award for Best New Magazine Writer is a fusion of the Best Student Writer award and an earlier award for Best New Writer.
