t.o.night freesheet launches weekly weekend supplement

t.o. night, the daily freesheet given out at subway entrances every weekday afternoon in downtown Toronto, is launching a weekly magazine supplement called Your Weekend, which is included in the Friday edition of the paper. It was reported in the blog Newspaper Innovation.

The paper, which was launched last September by the t.o.night Newspaper Group, distributes about 100,000 copies at about 80 locations in the core, including designated boxes and racks.

"As our city’s only 100% Toronto owned free daily newspaper, we’re proud to enlighten Torontonians about our great city, and the amazing neighbourhoods, people and events that define it." said John Cameron, the publisher, in a release.
