The University of Chicago Press, publishers of the Chicago Manual of Style (much beloved of copy editors) and its online version are offering their subscribers a free e-book of the original edition published 104 years ago. The press is offering a new free e-book every month to promote its digital e-book downloads.  The Chicago Manual of Style Online costs individuals $35 a year.
In a note to subscribers it says
Over the years, the University of Chicago Press has received requests from legions of Manual fans for a reprint of the 1906 edition.
