A panel discussion about the shakeup is being held in Ottawa at Carleton University on November 24, starting at 6 p.m. According to a posting on J-source, the panel is moderated by Chris Waddell, director of the School of Journalism and Communication and panellists (all Carleton grads) are:

• Kim Pittaway, BJ/86, consultant, journalist, author, former editor of Chatelaine
• Steve Rennie, MJ/07, reporter, parliamentary bureau, The Canadian Press
• Claire Brownell, MJ/10, reporter, Ottawa Citizen
The event is being held in 100 St. Patrick’s Building, Carleton University, with complimentary light refreshments and (natch) a cash bar.Register for this free event online at alumni.carleton.ca/events. For additional information, please email cu_proud@carleton.ca or call 1-866-287-7683.
