Let the good times roll; September Vogue

If we are looking for harbingers of things looking up in the magazine business, you can hardly do better than take your wagon to the store to bring home the ad-heavy September issue of Vogue. 
It is an absolute monster, at 758 pages (in 2010, it was 700) and it's so chock full of ads that there are 68 back-to-back ad pages before reaching editorial and editor Anna Wintour's letter doesn't even appear until page 218!
