Nice to see the Jim Cormier award. I was just thinking of him last week as I sometimes remember those who shared the journey but who are no longer here. Sadly, the list is a long one.
As head of the Women's Service and Lifestyle magazines at Telemedia in the early '90's, I had the pleasure of working with Jim for a period of time when he was the editor of Equinox.
He was an excellent editor. And, a great guy.
We shared a love for magazines... and for playing hockey.
As sometimes happens to aging jocks, a competitive skate contributed to his passing.
I hope someone describes who he was when the award is presented.
