Venerable style rulebook offers its subscribers free e-version of 1906 edition

The University of Chicago Press, publishers of the Chicago Manual of Style (much beloved of copy editors) and its online version are offering their subscribers a free e-book of the original edition published 104 years ago. The press is offering a new free e-book every month to promote its digital e-book downloads.  The Chicago Manual of Style Online costs individuals $35 a year. 
In a note to subscribers it says
Over the years, the University of Chicago Press has received requests from legions of Manual fans for a reprint of the 1906 edition. Now, to celebrate the official publication of the sixteenth edition, we are proud to offer free for the month of September this fun and fascinating glimpse into publishing practices in the early twentieth century.
