Hello! crests 180,000 circulation a month; average 45,000 a week

Rogers Media's Canadian franchise of Hello! magazine has topped 180,000 in its monthly circulation guarantee to advertisers, the company said in a release. When launched in August 2006, the magazine had 100,000. The figures are based on sworn publisher's statements (the magazine has applied for Audit Bureau of Circulations membership).
[UPDATE] A friend suggests that it should be made clear that Hello! is a weekly, and therefore has a circulation of about 45,000 an issue. Not chopped liver, but...
The Canadian edition of the celebrity magazine is one of 10 editions of a title that originated in Spain and which claims more than 8 million readers worldwide. The magazine's recent Diana commemorative issue broke all newsstand and all previous 2007 advertising sales records.
