L’actualité top winner at Quebec Magazine Awards

L’actualité won five times at the Quebec Magazine Awards (Concours des Grand Prix), held yesterday in Montreal. This, according to a story in Mastheadonline. The Rogers title, which is also nominated for 15 National Magazine Awards, including Magazine of the Year may bask as well in the reflected glory of its staff writer Daniel Chrétien winning the Jean Paré prize for Journalist of the Year.

Québec Science and Elle Québec followed close behind with four prizes apiece, while Jobboom and Les Éditions Infopresse each won two. 7 Jours, published by TVA Publications, took home the prize for Newsstand Magazine of the Year, while Moi & cie was named best relaunch.
A complete list of winners (in French) is listed here.
