MORE magazine builds new website on successful print launch

MORE magazine has launched its new website with more than 25,000 people already signed up and the likelihood of the site's registration growing rapidly because of its integration with the women's service network of Transcontinental Media. For instance, e-mail alerts have been sent to the 135,000 registered users of the MochaSofa newsletters.

The new site -- more.ca -- launched officially on July 31 and will likely replicate the rapid growth of the print magazine which, in a little over a year has grown to a circulation of 140,000. In September, the French version -- Vita -- is to be launched.

The new website starts off with 30% new, web-exclusive content and intends to increase that proportion, as well as delivering an archive of articles and features. The website is designed with six segments or "pillars": Attitude, Body & Mind, Relationships, Style,Travel & Adventure and Work & Money.
