New York hip-hop mag Don Diva makes an entrance with Canadian edition

New York-based rap publication Don Diva is launching a Canadian edition, with the first issue arriving on newsstands in September, according to a story in Media in Canada. It will have approximately 120 pages (of which 8 will be exclusively Canadian content) and a circulation of 15,000-20,000. All creative will be produced out of Don Diva in New York.

Exclusive Canadian representative is indie hip-hop artist Kama, aka Kamikaze, who is interviewed in the current issue and runs Ez-Mak Records and Entertainment. He was giving out copies to carnival-goers during Caribana Festival this past weekend. There will be a launch party on August 14 at Fluid nightclub.
