Felix Dennis, the founder of Dennis Publishing and its iconic titles
Maxim magazine and
Stuff and
The Week, has been honoured by the British Society of Magazine Editors, according to
a story in the
UK Press Gazette. The prestigious Mark Boxer Award goes to an individual who, in the opinion of the BSME committee, has made an outstanding editorial contribution to magazines in this country.
Dennis commented:
"The strange thing about editors is that I've always sort of loved them and hated them at the same time - and I've fired a lot of them. But it's the editors in the end who made me all the money."
