OptiMYz magazine says fitness club takeover
is good publishing news
Max Brennan, the publisher of OptiMYz magazine in Halifax, says that the purchase of the Nubody's fitness clubs by the GoodLife fitness chain is good news for his magazine. According to an item in the Chronicle-Herald, GoodLife founder the CEO David Patchell-Evans is interested in possible expanding the publication, which is now in its 26th year.The magazine was distributed to Nubody members as a membership benefit.
Dean Hartman, founder of the Nubody’s chain had been a partner in the health and fitness magazine since its inception. The magazine is currently mailed to over 35,000 Atlantic Canadians bi-monthly.

What would be really nice would be if they started paying faster than within 60 days of publication.
