Rolling Stone's Obama issue wins ASME "cover of the year" award


Rolling Stone magazine won the American Society of Magazine Editors "cover of the year" award for its July 10-24 issue featuring Barack Obama. The results of the cover contest -- this year run as an online poll of consumers who visited Amazon.com -- was announced Wednesday at the Magazine Innovation Summit in New York City. There were more than 100,000 votes counted, according to a story in Audience Development.
