Style at Home partners on line of branded paints

Style at Home magazine (Transcontinental Media) has teamed up with Beauti-Tone Paints to create a branded line of paint.
The Style at Home Collection boasts nine unique palettes; elegance, exotic, farmhouse, cottage, romance, fresh, loft, manor and townhouse along with a selection of neutrals and editor favourites. Each palette offers a range of hues as well as “insider secrets” on how to create a specific look or mood. For example, “Wasabi is just the right yellow to emulate the look of a sunlit room” and “Satin is the perfect wall tone for lovers of minimalist décor”.
“Our team wanted to create a palette that was synonymous with the Style at Home brand; current, chic and fun,” said editor in chief, Erin McLaughlin, “and the process was a bit of trip down memory lane for many Style at Home staffers. Several of these paint names and shades were brought to life from personal experiences and memories.”
Style at Home blogger Brett Walther reports that in the June 2010  issue,  the opening page of the Style News section has an illustration by Toronto artist Cybele Young incorporating the colours in the collection, intended to be an homage to the April 1945 issue of House & Garden magazine.
