Maclean's and CPAC host debate on how 9/11 changed our world

Maclean's magazine and CPAC, the public affairs channel, are to host a live, two-hour debate in St. John's on the topic "How has 9/11 Changed Our World?". The event is free to the public and takes place at the Cook Recital Hall at Memorial University next Thursday, September 8 a 7:30 p.m. NDT. (Complimentary tickets can be obtained at www.Macleans.ca/inconversation.
Panelists will include Maclean's's national editor Andrew Coyne and senior columnist Paul Wells. They will be joined by the Hon. David Collonette (who was transport minister at the time of 9/11), Tarek Fatah (author, broadcaster, and political activist) and Sukanya Pillay (Director, National Security Program, Canadian Civil Liberties Association. The panel will be moderated by CPAC host Peter Van Dusen.
The event is part of an ongoing CPAC-Maclean's "In Conversation" series being held at various places across Canada.
