New Chinese language lifestyle and real estate magazine launched in B.C.
A new Chinese language lifestyle and real estate magazine called New Home Living has been launched by Black Press in the lower mainland of B.C.
According to a story in Marketing, the title will be published 11 times a year and will have a controlled circulation of 20,000, as well as having a companion website. The first issue, dated September, has 76 pages. The publisher is Lisa Farquharson.
The content focuses on choosing a place to live in B.C.’s Lower Mainland, as well as the various aspects of setting up house and getting settled in a new community. “We’re targeting new and established immigrants in their own language—we’ve never done that before and we felt there was a need for a lifestyle magazine in that market.[said Farquharson]”
