TV Guide Canada to publish special interest print magazine marking royal wedding

TV Guide Canada (Transcontinental) is to produce a special interest publication called The Wedding of the Century, marking the much-anticipated marriage between England’s future king, Prince William, and Kate Middleton. The SIP, which will appear on newsstands Monday, May 9, will retail for $9.99. The press run is 100,000 copies.
“This is an absolute must-have for any royal-watcher,” explains TV Guide Canada Publisher, Caroline Andrews, “the excitement and intrigue surrounding this wedding could very well surpass that of Charles and Diana’s wedding thirty years ago.”
TVGuide.ca carried on after Transcon discontined publication of the print edition in 2006; it operates in partnership with Sympatico. It averages 6.5 million page views a month, with 2 million unique visitors.
